Terms of Service
Pilot version · New York City
1. What this service is
ParkFlow NYC is an information and coordination service. It helps drivers share and receive information about when a public parking location is expected to become available, view publicly published parking regulations, and reserve capacity at partner garages and private spaces. ParkFlow NYC does not own, sell, rent, reserve, guarantee, or control any public street parking space.
2. No sale or reservation of public parking
Publishing departure information does not create any right in a public parking space, and accepting a coordinated handoff does not reserve one. No money is ever exchanged between drivers. Any attempt to sell, auction, trade, or professionally hold public parking spaces is prohibited and will result in permanent removal.
3. Driver-only, safe use
You must be a licensed driver operating a registered vehicle. Publish or accept information only while safely parked or stopped. The app blocks interaction while your vehicle appears to be moving. You are solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws, posted signs, and local parking regulations.
4. Availability is never guaranteed
All availability information is community-reported and may be inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable by the time you arrive. Handoffs may fail for reasons outside anyone's control. When a handoff cannot be completed, the service surfaces partner garages and private spaces as an alternative.
5. No obligation to hold a space
A departing driver is never asked or required to hold, block, occupy, or defend a public parking space for another driver, and must not create any unsafe or obstructive situation on the roadway.
6. Trust, points, and account standing
Reliability signals such as your Trust Score and points reflect community feedback and completed coordination. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Repeated no-shows, false reports, harassment, or unsafe behavior may reduce your standing or suspend your account.
7. Reporting and enforcement
Every coordination surface includes a report control. Reports are reviewed by the operations team, which may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts. Emergency situations should always be reported to local authorities first.
8. Pilot scope and changes
The service currently operates only in the Astoria Pilot Zone and may change, pause, or end during the pilot. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParkFlow NYC is not liable for parking tickets, towing, vehicle damage, missed handoffs, delays, or disputes between drivers. You use the service at your own risk.
